An active police investigation in Chatham caused a closure on Main Street early Wednesday, authorities said.

Main Street was closed between Fairmount and N. Passaic Avenue around 7:50 a.m., Chatham Borough Police Det. Sgt. Michael E. Bochniak told DailyVoice.com.

“Please plan accordingly,” Bochniak said.
